Kuta Beach, Bali Island…………..Indonesia

Kuta Beach is a must see destination if you come to Asia.  The Indonesian people are friendly but they will try to sell you goods while your relaxing on the beach.  This can get annoying after the hundredth time but if you come so South East Asia this situation is unavoidable. People are trying to make a living.  Tourism is many Kuta residents’ only source of income so I didn’t get too angry and bought some tank tops.  Beside that, there are many interesting things to do on the island.  I went with couple friends and had the time of my life.  I also heard a phrase that has stuck with me since my visit “No money…..No honey”. With a long broad Indian Ocean beach-front, Kuta was originally discovered by tourists as a surfing paradise. It has long been a popular stop on the classic backpacking route in South East Asia. Back in the 1980s they used to talk about the three Ks: Katmandu in Nepal, Khao San Road in Bangkok and Kuta. Today Kuta still attracts some hardcore backpackers as well as families and tourists from all over the world, and is most notably a playground for young visitors from Australia.
